The Ford dealer installed this alarm in a new Ford Taurus. Needless to say, it never worked properly. The harness is a mess, wires were twisted and taped and Scotch-Lok connectors were used. The natural vibrations in a vehicle cause improper connections to rapidly fail causing potential safety and convenience problems. This alarm was removed from a Ford Taurus in order  to properly install a true security system the Rich's Car Tunes way.
