We installed an Alpine controller with motorized screen in the factory head unit location. The console was modified to hold an Alpine 6-disc CD changer which was painted to color match the Cadillac's interior. The iPod was interfaced to the Alpine controller and a flocked pocket in place of the ashtray was constructed to hold the iPod. The music player is easily removed for the addition of new music. A Soundgate interface was used to maintain the use of the steering wheel controls with the new equipment.
